(If you're reading this after Christmas, no you're not. 😜 Refer back to this for birthday presents!)
I had planned on doing gift guides for all my children's age groups for Christmas but I ended up going the chill "influencer" route and shared them on Instagram and LTK and never on here. That's no bueno because my blog is my baby. So here I am sharing my children's gift guides in January. I suggest bookmarking these for birthday gift ideas. The plus side of sharing them after Christmas? I can tell you what my kids really thought about them and if they were a hit or miss!
HUNTER'S CHRISTMAS WISH LIST
Hunter is definitely my more hands-on kind of little guy. Loves Pokemon, cars and being outside!

1. Scarlet and Violet Surging Sparks - Never in a million years could you have told me I'd be spending almost $80 on one box of Pokemon cards but it was a HUGE hit. Santa also brought
Scarlet and Violet Surging Sparks and that was also a big hit (at a lesser price point). Basically, if your child is super into Pokemon cards, any of these are going to be a hit. In fact, while we were there, there was a group of older teenagers that were obsessing over a box (apparently, it's hard to find?) and I thought it was adorable.
2. Nintendo Switch - The Switch is this generation's version of Game Boy (I think?) and both of my boys own one. I think if your child is old enough for a portable gaming device - this one is perfect! You can switch out the handles for different colors, you can put a case on it. We like it!
3. Switch Kirby and the Forgotten Land - Speaking of the Switch, if you're looking for games - both of my son's really enjoyed Kirby and the Forgotten Land. They also loved Luigi's Mansion 3 and all of the Pokemon games.
4. NERF Agility Blaster - I'm not even going to lie. I hate NERF guns. My oldest always seems to get my youngest son in the eye. EVERY TIME. He did
not get one this year but if we were to get him one, it would be this one but with WAY less ammo.
5. Fortnite VBux - I feel like Vbux and Robux are always a safe gift. They can be bought virtually and sent straight to your e-mail or you can buy in stores. Normally, buying a gift card unlocks a special free gift that your child can use in the game as well (it's normally something their avatar can wear).
7.
Mr. Beast Mystery Cryo Lab - We got to work with Mr. Beast last year and I'm pretty sure I've earned some Awesome Mom points because of it! The boys received this mystery cryo lab and they still fight over the figure that comes with it!
8.
Jurassic Park Real Feel T-Rex - Are your kids obsessed with dinosaurs, Jurassic Park and/or having any type of figure that has a mouth big enough to fit small objects into? If you said yes to any of these, this T-Rex is perfect for them! Heavy on that last one. The amount of Legos, small dinosaurs (which I'm pretty sure they have some
meant to be eaten by this dino) and other random things I have found in this dinosaurs mouth is unreal. Needless to say, this dinosaur is a hit!
10.
Wired Headphones - Super cute, super comfy. Plugs into their iPads no problem. Comes in a few different colors.
11.
Thames & Kosmos Mega Cyborg Hand - Both of my boys received these cyborg hands. One shoots nerfs and the other one (this one) grabs. These are some of the coolest STEM projects we've ever done. It involves greasing gears up and lots of small parts. Their customer service is incredible, btw. We lost a very tiny screw and I reached out to them to see if there's any way I can buy a replacement. They sent me two free of charge. A+++++.
12.
Kids Smart Watch - My oldest has been asking for a smart watch for quite some time but I feel like we're not ready for a
real one so we thought we could compromise with this one. It has games, a little camera, a flashlight - some pretty cool things - but my son wasn't impressed and we ended up sending it back.
13.
Flat 2 Fast Card Racer - We actually wanted to grab this for Christmas but it was sold out everywhere! Fast forward just a few weeks ago, my son found it at Target and was SO into it!
