Moving onto to B's gift guide! Again, I know I'm sharing these way after Christmas but might I suggest using these as a good reference for birthday gifts this year? The plus side to sharing after the holidays? I can let you know if they were an actual hit or a big miss.
BRODY'S GIFT GUIDE
My youngest son is eight years old and very much into any science/STEM-related, Minecraft and LEGOs. He eats, sleeps and breathes anything brick-related. 😛
1.LEGO Darth Vader Mech - Brody is obsessed with any LEGO superhero/villain that has a mech suit. He has a pretty big collection going!
2.LEGO 3-in-1 Camera - Love the 3-in-one LEGO sets! As much fun as it is to put together a LEGO, I know my kids can equally enjoy ripping them apart and making something new.
4. Zuru 5 Surprise Mega Gross - My kids love, love, love these surprise mini balls and this one is their take on "gross" things, apparently? I'm getting Garbage Pail Kids vibes from these.
5. Mini Microscope - I couldn't find our microscope but I feel like this is pretty close. If you have a little one that loves science or looking at things up close - this is such a good gift. We've had ours for years now and it's always pulled out when they want to check out a bug or leaf. It's so cool - and also gross. There's just some things I don't think I want to see magnified.
6. Butterfly Garden - 1000000% would recommend! Comes with everything you need to grow caterpillars into butterflies - including a voucher for caterpillars. You can only have them shipped in warm weather (obviously) but we loved doing this.
7.iPad Case - It might not be a gift they want, but it's definitely a gift they need if they have an iPad. This one is amazing!
8.Pokemon Booster Set - Brody loves Pokemon; just not as much as my older son (yet) so we settled on a smaller booster set. It's Pokemania over here, ya'll.
9.LEGO Tuxedo Cat - Brody begged for this for Christmas. It was on every list he made. Santa ended up bringing it. Just for him to lose a piece and it's been in pieces every since. Highly recommend doing this one with your child or just waiting for them to be a little older (and *ahem* more responsible). In case you're wondering, LEGO does have a website you can order lost pieces on. Phew.
10.Lanky Box Giant Milky Mystery Set - I try to be the cool parent and let my children do their own thing and like what they like but what the actual eff is this? He did get this for Christmas and all the little parts to it were immediately lost and forgotten about.
11.Tornado Lava Lamp - Hands down, my son's favorite gift. My parents bought this for him and the joy he got from it was unmatched. It's a nightlight that creates a pretty realistic tornado from bubbles, I think? Highly recommend for any science-lover in your life (big or small)!
12.Robux - Always a crowd-pleaser around here! You can get a virtual one (always comes in handy for last-minute gifts) or a tangible one. I'm pretty sure both come with a free gift they can use in the game!
