I have wanted this Martha Stewart Frankenstein's Monster Head Planter from the moment I spotted it in a TikTok haul back in July. Literally JUST found it a few weeks ago. So keep looking, guys! It's still out there in the wild.
Anywho, the planter itself? Perfection. The glittery floral arrangement on top? Mehhh, not so much. Ya'll, I love me some sparkle but loose glitter I CANNOT get down with. It's just...everywhere. It never goes away. You can get rid of it and there will still be some type of remnants from it. For forever. *shudder*
I swear to God, Martha herself must've plastered these twigs in because I couldn't for the love of me get them out. I thought I could be cute and just use some elbow grease and pull them out. Nope-ity nope nope. I ended up snipping them off and then went to town digging out the plaster. It was a mess but totally worth it!
After the glitter mess was pulled out and the head was cleaned, I found a bunch of stems from Dollar Tree and spray-painted them matte black. Instant spooky floral. I popped a foam block into the head so the stems wouldn't move and arranged the stems in a weird, messy way. I love how it turned out!
Let me know if this is a project you'd take on!
