If there's one thing my skin missed the memo on when it comes to being pregnant, it was definitely that "pregnancy glow". My skin broke out and dried out. I fixed the break outs but what's a girl to do when your face is like the Sahara and your normal facial moisturizer just doesn't cut it?
Reviva Labs Hyaluronic Acid Serum, baby! This serum plumps up skin and keeps moisture in your skin even in dry climates and hot rooms. According to the Reviva Labs' website, aestheticians have stated this serum is the closest to an injection of Restylane.
The consistency is super hard to describe. It pumps out like a normal serum but once you start to rub it in, it feels light, like you applied water to your face. Pretty awesome! It dries within seconds and you can put your makeup or moisturizer on right after. There is no absolutely no scent to this serum. I think what I liked the most about this serum was the fact that it didn't feel sticky or oily. Within minutes, my face felt smooth, moisturized and supple after direct use of this. I'm incredibly impressed!
PS. This is totally safe for pregnant women! Hyaluronic Acid is actually something your own body produces. It's also safe because of its molecular size, it cannot penetrate through the skin and cannot be absorbed. Either way, it's fine to use!
Reviva Labs Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Is Hyaluronic Acid Serum you would try? How are you dealing with dry skin in the summer?
Availability: Buy | Price: $22
I swear by hyaluronic acid. I use it in a serum and I take it in capsules with collagen and in a chewable beauty bite. I haven't tried this, but I love Reviva's products!
ReplyDeleteObsessed with Hyaluronic Acid. Totally makes the difference in the skin. I am super intrigued with how this sounds cause I do love a great serum and any thing that will absorb quick and feel like water, I am sold.
ReplyDeleteI like the fact that it doesn't feel sticky or oily once applied. So many serums have that dreaded after effect. I will have to check this one out!
ReplyDeleteSounds great!
ReplyDeleteI need this, I have a bunch of dry patches due to a new acne regimen :(
ReplyDeleteI need to try this. I've been so dry because of my rosacea meds
ReplyDeleteI have and love this!
ReplyDeleteI need to try this asap!
ReplyDeleteOoh - I need to try this out ASAP - I am a hyaluronic acid addict
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great product!
ReplyDeleteMy skin is oily but it has been feeling more dehydrating lately, I should probably think about adding something like this to my routine, though I did recently pick up Dr. Denis Gross' clinical boosters which included a hydrating one but can't but sure it includes hyaluronic acid. Thanks for the post.
DeleteI LOVE this stuff!!
ReplyDeleteI rotate in a night cream with hyaluronic acid. Love it for all over the face, neck, and chest. This serum sounds amazing, but then, I haven't tried anything from Reviva Labs that I didn't like! I have their Oatmeal soap in my shower right now. Smells amazing.
ReplyDeleteHyaluronic acid is great for skin because it's a humectant (seals moisture). Like you said, it also plumps the skin. Having said that, I definitely want to try this serum!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE thiS StuFF!!! It's really nice.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of Hyaluronic Acid so long as it isn't animal sourced.
ReplyDeleteI´ve been thinking about trying it.
ReplyDeleteHyaluronic Acid is one of the best ingredients ever in skincare, and THE best moisturizer. This serum sounds amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if this would be a good choice for a nighttime moisturizer on my oily skin. Thoughts?
ReplyDeleteReviva Labs products are the best, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteThe older I get, the more I love Hyaluronic Acid! This sounds like another great Reviva labs product.
ReplyDeleteI adore this, when my skin gets dry I start using this and it works within days!
ReplyDeleteI love all that is Reviva Labs! <3
